Liftora ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

A. Information You Provide to Us

Account Data: Email address, name, and password (processed securely via Firebase Authentication).

Health & Fitness Data: Workout logs, body measurements (e.g., weight, height), exercise history, and personal goals that you voluntarily enter into the app.

B. Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.

Local Storage: Cached video files and application preferences stored locally on your device to improve performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data for the following specific purposes:

  • To create, authenticate, and manage your user account
  • To track, analyze, and visualize your fitness progress and history
  • To maintain app stability, security, and performance
  • To facilitate offline access to exercise demonstration videos

4. Payments and Subscriptions

Liftora may offer paid features or subscriptions in the future. If you choose to make a purchase, all financial transactions are handled directly by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or bank account information. These transactions are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Storage: Your cloud data is securely stored on Google Firebase servers (Google Cloud Platform). While we implement industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit and at rest), no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Retention: We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be permanently and immediately deleted from our systems.

Video Caching: Exercise demonstration videos are downloaded and stored locally on your device (cached) to enable offline access. This data remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. You can clear this cache at any time via your device settings or app settings.

6. Third-Party Services

We share data with trusted third-party service providers solely for the operation of the app:

  • Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage): For backend infrastructure and authentication
  • Google Play Services: For app distribution and potential future billing services

These providers are obligated to protect your data under their respective privacy policies.

7. Account Deletion

You have the absolute right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

In-App Deletion: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the instructions. For security purposes, you will be required to enter your password to confirm the deletion.

Upon deletion, the following data will be permanently and immediately removed from our systems:

  • Your account and authentication credentials
  • All workout history and exercise data
  • Scheduled workout plans
  • Body measurements and progress statistics
  • User profile and preferences

Note: Locally cached videos on your device can be cleared manually through app settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information immediately.

9. Your Rights (GDPR & KVKK)

Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • Access & Correction: You can view and edit your profile and health data directly within the app
  • Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdrawal of Consent: You can delete your account to withdraw consent for data processing
